Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Amritsar & Local Sightseeing
Arrive at Amritsar Railway Station in the morning, where our representative will greet you and transfer you to a comfortable, budget-friendly hotel. After checking in and freshening up, begin your spiritual journey with a visit to the Golden Temple, followed by a serene walk through Jallianwala Bagh and the Durgiana Temple. After a relaxed lunch, head to Wagah Border to witness the awe-inspiring India-Pakistan Beating Retreat Ceremony. In the late afternoon, enjoy a leisurely local sightseeing tour of Amritsar, visiting key landmarks. Return to the hotel for a peaceful dinner and rest. In the evening, embark on an overnight journey to Katra.
Day 2: Katra to Vaishno Devi
Start your day early with a trek to Mata Vaishno Devi, where you can experience a spiritually uplifting darshan and pooja. Spend some time shopping for souvenirs. After the darshan, take a break with a hearty meal before returning to the hotel in Katra to relax. The evening is free to explore the local area at your own pace. Dinner and overnight stay at Katra.
Day 3: Katra to Srinagar
After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Katra and embark on a scenic drive to Srinagar (approximately 255 km, 6 hours). En route, visit Patnitop, where you can enjoy some leisure time amidst the natural beauty of the region. Upon arrival in Srinagar, check in to your hotel, relax, and take in the views. The evening is free for leisure, with optional activities such as strolling through the local markets. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 4: Srinagar to Sonmarg – Excursion via Kheer Bhawani Mandir
After breakfast, head out on a scenic excursion to Sonmarg (95 km, 3 hours), where you’ll pass through picturesque landscapes. En route, stop at the Kheer Bhawani Mandir for a peaceful darshan. Upon arrival in Sonmarg, enjoy the tranquil environment, and return to Srinagar by late afternoon. Evening is free to enjoy Srinagar’s local markets or indulge in some traditional Kashmiri delicacies. Dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 5: Srinagar to Gulmarg – Excursion via Tangmarg
Following breakfast, set off for an exciting excursion to Gulmarg (60 km, 2 hours). Visit Tangmarg along the way, where you can stop for a short sightseeing tour. Upon reaching Gulmarg, take a Gondola ride for panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains, followed by sightseeing in the area. For those who enjoy adventure, you can also try activities like skiing or a snowmobile ride (seasonal). Return to Srinagar by the evening for a cozy dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Srinagar – Local Sightseeing & Houseboat Stay
After breakfast, explore the charm of Srinagar, starting with the Shankaracharya Temple, followed by a visit to the exquisite Mughal Gardens: Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Garden, Chashme Shahi, and Pari Mahal. After a leisurely sightseeing day, enjoy a peaceful Shikara ride on Dal Lake for about an hour, taking in the breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains. End the day with a unique stay on a houseboat on Dal Lake, offering a relaxing evening experience on the water. Dinner and overnight on the houseboat.
Day 7: Srinagar to Pahalgam
After breakfast on the houseboat, check out and drive to Pahalgam (100 km, 3 hours). On the way, enjoy the changing scenery and tranquil surroundings. Upon arrival in Pahalgam, check in to your hotel and freshen up. In the afternoon, enjoy optional sightseeing to Chandanwari, Aru Valley, or Betaab Valley (at an additional cost). Alternatively, spend the afternoon relaxing by the riverside or exploring the local market. Dinner and overnight stay at Pahalgam.
Day 8: Pahalgam to Jammu via Nashri Tunnel
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and start your drive to Jammu (240 km, 6 hours) via the Nashri Tunnel, Asia’s No. 1 tunnel, offering a thrilling experience. Upon arrival in Jammu, our representative will drop you off at the Jammu Railway Station or your preferred hotel. You will depart with unforgettable memories of the Golden Temple, Vaishno Devi, the serene landscapes of Srinagar, Sonmarg, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, and much more.
